Terms of Service

Version 2026-09-14 · Last updated September 14, 2026

1. About qLabs and these terms

qLabs is a listing website and intermediary operated by an individual based in Slovenia, publicly known as 8qBIT. References to “qLabs”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that operator, not a separately incorporated company. Public contact: contact@8qbit.me. “Resources” include software, plugins, configurations, media, documentation and other material listed or shared on the website.

These terms describe the rules for using the portal, accounts, listings, downloads, reviews and community features. Read them before creating an account, uploading or purchasing. Where agreement is legally required, it must be obtained through an appropriate acceptance process; viewing this page alone does not establish consent to every contractual provision. If you do not agree, do not upload, purchase or use account services. Mandatory legal rights always take priority over these terms.

2. The marketplace and the seller

Third-party resources belong to their respective authors or other lawful rights holders. qLabs does not acquire ownership merely by hosting, displaying, reviewing or distributing them. The author or seller identified on a listing is responsible for that resource and its offers, descriptions, licences, compatibility statements, delivery, support, updates and legally required remedies.

For a third-party resource, the purchase or licence agreement is between the buyer and the identified seller. Buyers pay the seller directly through the payment provider used for the transaction. qLabs is not the author, seller, guarantor or insurer of a third-party resource merely because it appears on the website. Any separately disclosed platform service or fee does not transfer the author's intellectual property to qLabs.

This distinction does not apply to products or services expressly offered by the qLabs operator as the seller. The operator remains responsible for their own products, representations, conduct and any responsibilities imposed on the platform by law. A resource being hosted here, approved, popular, rated or labelled as verified is not a guarantee that it is safe, original, defect-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

3. Eligibility and account security

You must meet Discord's applicable age requirements and any higher minimum age required by your local law. If you cannot legally enter a contract yourself, a parent or guardian must provide any required authorisation and act where necessary. Sellers must have legal capacity to sell and comply with any applicable registration requirements.

Use your own Discord account and accurate information. Do not impersonate another person, share or sell accounts, evade restrictions or misrepresent customer status. Keep your credentials and API keys secure; never post them in resources or messages. Notify us promptly about suspected compromise. You are responsible for activities you authorise, subject to applicable law; this does not make you automatically liable for every unauthorised act. qLabs cannot guarantee access to an account suspended or removed by Discord.

4. Original work and upload rights

Only upload resources you created yourself, or original collaborative work you helped create and are authorised to publish. Do not upload stolen, leaked, cracked, pirated, copied, repackaged or resold work belonging to someone else. Buying a resource, finding it online or receiving permission to use it does not by itself permit you to redistribute or sell it here. Cosmetic edits, a renamed file or an attribution do not make another person's resource your own.

Legitimately licensed dependencies or components may be incorporated into your original work only where their licences permit that use and distribution. Identify their authors, retain required notices, provide required source code and comply with redistribution conditions. This exception does not permit uploading someone else's standalone resource or claiming their work as yours. You must obtain all permissions from collaborators, employers and rights holders before uploading and be able to substantiate your rights on request.

5. Strictly prohibited content and conduct

The following are prohibited in uploads, listings, images, usernames, profiles, links, messages, reviews and updates, including material reached through redirects or external downloads:

  • Stolen or infringing content; piracy tools intended to bypass licensing; unauthorised keys, credentials, account sales or personal data.
  • Adult or pornographic material, sexual services, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, or any sexual content involving or appearing to involve minors. These restrictions apply even where particular adult material might otherwise be lawful.
  • Any unlawful goods, services or content; fraud, scams, threats, extortion, unlawful hate speech, terrorist content, exploitation, trafficking or encouragement of serious violence.
  • Malware, ransomware, credential theft, hidden backdoors, unauthorised remote access, destructive payloads, undisclosed cryptomining, or covert collection or transmission of user data.
  • Doxxing, harassment, stalking, discriminatory abuse or publication of private information without a lawful basis.
  • Deceptive descriptions, forged ownership or purchase evidence, fake reviews, manipulated ratings or downloads, undisclosed paid endorsements, spam or impersonation.
  • Circumventing access controls, abusing APIs, disrupting services, exploiting vulnerabilities without authorisation, or facilitating any of the above through another account or website.

Violations will result in content restrictions and account suspension where substantiated and appropriate. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent termination. We may impose immediate temporary restrictions while investigating credible threats or illegal content, subject to applicable procedural rights.

6. Seller obligations

Sellers must clearly identify themselves, provide a usable support/contact channel, and accurately disclose whether they act as a trader or private seller. Calling yourself a private individual does not override the legal classification of your activity. Provide legally required identity, address, registration and tax information where applicable.

Before a purchase, clearly state the total price, applicable taxes, licence, supported versions, dependencies, installation requirements, functionality, interoperability, limitations, support scope, update commitments and refund/withdrawal information. Disclose external services, recurring charges, telemetry and significant security risks. Do not promise features, compatibility or support you cannot provide. Keep listings accurate and promptly address defects or vulnerabilities.

You are responsible for applicable taxes, invoices, registrations, consumer obligations, export restrictions and your payment-provider agreement. Platform fees, if any, must be disclosed and agreed before they apply. Do not introduce undisclosed charges or retroactively remove rights granted with an existing sale. These terms do not authorise withholding another person's money without a lawful basis.

7. Buying, licensing, payments and refunds

Review the seller's identity, resource description and licence before buying. A download usually grants a licence to use the resource, not ownership of its copyright. Do not redistribute, sublicense, sell or share it beyond the licence and rights provided by law. Sellers must provide clear licence terms; silence does not automatically grant resale rights.

Payment providers operate under their own terms and handle transactions within their services. Confirm the seller and amount shown by the provider before authorising payment. Direct support, delivery, billing and refund requests to the seller, and use the payment provider's dispute process when appropriate. qLabs may help identify a seller or investigate abuse but does not guarantee a particular dispute outcome. Do not submit fraudulent claims; good-faith chargebacks, complaints and statutory remedies are not prohibited.

Consumer protection may differ between purchases from traders and genuine private sellers. Applicable withdrawal, conformity, repair, replacement, price-reduction and refund rights remain intact. Digital delivery does not automatically remove a withdrawal right: where the law permits an exception, the required prior express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation must actually be obtained. These terms alone do not obtain that consent. No blanket “all sales final” rule overrides mandatory remedies.

8. Permission to operate the service

You retain your rights in your uploads. You grant qLabs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, back up, technically format, display and distribute that content solely as needed to operate the portal, show your listing and deliver authorised downloads under its licence. This is not permission to sell your work independently, claim authorship or use it for unrelated purposes.

That permission lasts while you make the content available, and afterwards only to the extent reasonably needed for lawful backups, record retention, dispute handling and fulfilment of existing authorised purchases. Removal does not revoke licences already validly granted to buyers. The website's own code, design and branding remain subject to the rights of qLabs and other relevant rights holders. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Reports, infringement notices and appeals

Use our DMCA and content-report page, the resource report function, or contact@8qbit.me to report illegal content, infringement, security threats or violations. Reports should identify the exact URL, relevant resource/version, reasons for the report and supporting evidence. For an ownership claim, identify the protected work and your authority to act for its rights holder. Provide contact details where required and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate. Do not download or redistribute illegal material merely to send evidence; identify its location instead.

We will assess reports diligently and may request clarification, restrict access, remove content, suspend accounts or take other proportionate action. We may act on reliable reports, our own findings or binding legal orders. Review is not a comprehensive certification of every file. We will provide reasons and available redress information where required by law, with exceptions where disclosure is legally restricted or would undermine safety or an investigation.

If you believe a moderation decision is mistaken, contact us with the decision, affected URL or account, and your explanation and evidence. We will review the challenge and correct errors. Applicable rights to complain to authorities, use available out-of-court procedures or bring proceedings remain unaffected. Do not abuse reports or appeals to intimidate authors or suppress legitimate criticism.

10. Availability, removal and account closure

The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security incidents, provider outages or other reasons. We may change or discontinue features, giving notice and any legally required remedy where applicable. Unless specifically promised in an offer or required by law, there is no guarantee of permanent hosting, unlimited storage or indefinite download availability. Keep lawful backups of your own work and licensed purchases.

You may stop using the site or request account closure through the contact below. Closure, content removal or suspension does not automatically extinguish a seller's obligations to buyers, payment disputes, accrued rights or records we must lawfully retain. We will not use this clause to cancel paid entitlements or retain funds contrary to law. Serious abuse may require immediate action; otherwise notice and proportionality requirements apply.

11. Privacy, GDPR and third-party services

We do not sell customer personal data. We use data to provide the requested service, keep it secure, handle purchases and reports, and meet legal obligations. Our Privacy and Cookie Notice explains the data, purposes, recipients, retention criteria and GDPR rights. Contact contact@8qbit.me to exercise those rights.

Login is handled by Discord. qLabs does not collect or store your Discord password, and username/password login is disabled. Session cookies are signed to protect their integrity; signing is not encryption. No statement here guarantees absolute security or certifies compliance with every standard.

Do not upload secrets or personal data that you are not entitled to disclose. Sellers whose resources process personal data must meet their own applicable privacy and security obligations. Discord, payment providers and linked services have separate terms and privacy practices. Their presence here does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

These terms are not a privacy notice or blanket consent to tracking, marketing or processing personal data. qLabs must separately provide legally required information about its processing and obtain consent where required. Data-protection rights are not waived by using the portal.

12. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, third-party resources and free portal features are provided as available, without an additional qLabs warranty of accuracy, fitness, compatibility, uninterrupted operation or freedom from harmful code. Test software in a suitable environment and maintain backups. These precautions do not replace any seller's or operator's legal duties.

qLabs does not voluntarily assume a third-party seller's contractual obligations or guarantee compensation for that seller's conduct. To the extent legally permissible, the operator excludes liability for third-party content and transactions for which the operator is not legally responsible, and for indirect losses such as lost profits arising from use of the service.

Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, injury, mandatory consumer rights, data-protection violations or the operator's own statutory duties. Hosting-intermediary protections depend on the facts and legal requirements; this agreement does not create automatic immunity. Any limitation applies only to the extent valid under the law governing the claim.

For users acting in a business capacity only, you agree, to the extent permitted by law, to compensate the operator for reasonable, proven third-party claims and costs caused by your unlawful uploads, infringement or material breach. This does not cover loss caused by the operator's own fault, impose an unlimited consumer indemnity, or permit a settlement binding you without appropriate notice and participation.

13. Changes, applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Slovenian law, subject to mandatory protections that apply in your country of habitual residence. This choice does not deprive consumers of protections or court access that cannot be excluded. Disputes may be brought before the courts competent under applicable law; no mandatory arbitration, exclusive foreign forum or waiver of collective rights is imposed here.

Contact us first if you wish to seek an informal resolution, but doing so is not a prerequisite to using legal rights or meeting a claim deadline. We may update these terms for legal, security or service changes. We will state the new version and provide notice, lead time and renewed agreement where required. Changes do not retroactively strip rights from completed purchases. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent legally enforceable. Failure to enforce a rule once is not a permanent waiver.
